The eldest son of Shri Vittalnathji was born on the 12th day of bright half of the Kartik month in 1597 in Arel. During childhood, he gained spiritual knowledge from his father. His nickname was Govardhan. He got married at the age of 17 at Gokul to Shri Bhaminji. Shri Gusainji, with the help of Girdharji, made Shri Nathji accept six seasonal wishes. With Shri Nathji's command, Shri Girdharji established the Divine form in Mathura and played Holi with full family. At the age of 45, He attained Acharyahood. Because He lived a very simple and pure life, the people of Vraj addressed Him as Yatiji_Jatiji. The lower part of Girirajji is well known as Jatipura.
